So, I was going to head out and hunt a CV...I load out DT's and 1x 500kg bomb.

I got off the runway and leveled off. The DT's are 300gallons, right? Well, when I leveled out they were at 45

LW didn't use 300 gal tanks. Typical for them on most LW planes is something like 70(?) gallons. Ar234 is a guzzler. It's possible you just burned it off getting to the alt you leveled at.

234 DT in hanger register as 300 Leters. Guage text may be in gallons or around 1/4TH?

Thats right. If I remember correctly, 1l is about 0.264 gals or so. Too lazy to look it up so feel free to correct me.

Just under 4 liters per gallon. And yes, even though it may display DT loadouts in liters, the in flight display is in gallons.

It isn't no gas guzzler...and no...I took off from a 6K base (A37 on ndisles map) and leveled right after I got off the base.

Hmmm. There are 2 300L tanks, so the display reads 175. Is it possible that you saw 145, and not 45? Did you happen to pull up the E6b to crosscheck?

The Arado is indeed a gas guzzler, and the two 300l tanks are quickly emptied.

But I found another bug: The numbers in the cockpit display indicating the external fuel tank status were jumping around wildly the whole time. For example: 145-131-139-126-137 ect. As more and more fuel was used up in the drop tanks, the higher the deviations went.
I even dropped one of the two tanks, but even with a single tank it was still jumping around.
The fuel tank gauge itself and the "Fuel remaining" on E6B were stable, though.
I was able to duplicate this several times.
It shows even on film, I will send it in.

ya get 234 up to 15-20k, fuel consumption at same throttle setting goes WAAYYYy down
