WTF is this one all about?

the 4000 year old sport of
Kabaddi

Have no idea what the announcer is saying but I found him comical
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

The description is interesting.  I do wonder however why instead of relying on the raiders chanting to see if he's holding his breath, they don't just put a plastic bag over his head.

And to any of you thinking WTF?, yes the thing about the raider holding his breath makes perfect sense :)
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I couldn't figure out any part of that game. It looked like a combination of tag and wrestling.  :huh

Yep.  Looked like cross-country wrestling to me too.  The announcer was a hoot though.

looks very simple, the single guy has to make contact with one of the four, then the first one of those two to make it back to the "safe zone" wins.

This used to be on British TV on a Sunday morning about 10 years ago. It was pretty comical and involved men holding hands. Having said that, I believe holding hands is quite common between men in Pakistan/India.
