Disco/white screen, 120 perks gone..

I was flying a 262 in the blue arena today, flying at 14k or so just below the clouds when I spot a 234 about 6 k below me making a run on a base.

I dove to attack him, at about d800 i started firing and he started jinking andjerking and firing the tail guns, I went under him and began to pull up and the screen went white.. and then I was at desktop..

when i logged back in I was down ~120 perkies, I check the stats (Wingnutt) and the 234 got a a kill on me.


I was under the impression if you discoed you either lost only some or no points.. depending on the situation.

im am.. more than a little miffed..

and I didnt have the film recorder running, for the sake of avoiding things like this..

I cant help be feel tardish for even asking, but I have a full time job and alot of crap going on, I only get to fly maybe a few hours a week, it took me a LONG time to get enough perks to finally get a 262.  
anyone think its worth asking for a .. perk refund.. or something

yea, didnt think so..

kinda annoys me though, took me over a month to get that many points.  losing them to bug/game issue really pisses me off good.

time to reinstall LOMAC i guess, this experence has soured me to AH...

What kind of planes do you normally fly? If your flying La's, niks, and ponies, or other so called "uber" rides it will take awhile to build up perks. If you fly some of the older slower rides you will earn perks much faster. Flying a P38L and earning 2 perks for a mission, will get you 5 perks if you had taken the P38G.

And on top of all that, perk rides really aren't all that much better. Everyone chases perk rides because they are worth more perk point if you kill them, and there are other rides that get the job done just as well.

I usually fly a F4u-1 or a spit VIIII  25 and 20 ENY value respectively..

the lack of stick time is what make it take so long for me to ear perks, I often get 6 to 10 per sortie.. but i may only get in 10 sorties in a week if im lucky, just whenever i can sneak one in.

I mean really, i was.. like. ear to ear grinning when today I realized I could afford a 262 for the first time EVER ..

HINT: go to 500 or 1000 perks before you buy 262, stings less if you die

maybe you missed the part where I said It takes me FOREVER to get perks due to lack of stick time..

im not one of these 12 year olds who can play 6 hours a day.

that and I dont play for points, i play for fun, i dont find the nearest furball and dive in..  granted i could amass perks quicker by doing that, but i wouldent enjoy it very much.

back in "the day" when i used to play, I remember when the 234 first came out, and there was a bug where it started too far back on the runway, and if you hit .ef right after spawning you would get a ditch.  I lost perks that way, but got them back after asking.
