Why is it when you make a small rudder turn in a bomber to align with your target, it seems to take forever for your drones to assume their correct place in formation, but when you are in a fighter and the lead bomber turns, the drones suddenly start going Warp factor 2?
Always try and be the person your dog thinks you are.

I think the drone a/c form up astonishingly quickly when you make a turn. When you take off with full power they form up despite the fact you haven't throttled back, which should be impossible.

I can totally understand that for game reasons the drones need to be able to temporarily move outside their normal performance envelope. The one thing that annoys me is the way nme drones appear to my FE to warp back into position.

It's only a minor annoyance though, and you quickly learn to ignore the drones if the lead is turning, and go after the lead.

Another good tactic bomber pilots use is to switch the control to another plane in the formation which also causes a warp effect during the shift.
