What's funny is that was the "toned" down, "kinder gentler" version.

Sure I was cocky.  A squad full of self proclamed "griefers" come to the AvA and start trying to pull the same garbage they did in WarBirds.  I will be the first to admitt I was mildly amused at smacking them around.  I know many ex-WarBird people that got a kick out of it.

And like many, you still seem to confuse confidence with ego.  There is a big diff. between someone spouting off garbage they can't pull off, and someone that does what they say.

I would suggest you try to get a basic understanding on the game and some of the people that play it.  You obviously are "lacking"  much knowledge on both points.

Ego:  an exaggerated sense of self-importance and a feeling of superiority to other people.

I'll repeat what I said earlier, even if you can "pull off" something, it speaks to your character even more if you still feel the need to belittle others about it.  If others laugh with you, it doesn't make you more right, it just puts them down at your level.

I also get a chuckle about cries of them "griefing" as well, they launch a mission fly for half an hour over the water to put some bombs on a base and this somehow ruins your game?  Heck, why not just ignore them and continue to do your own DA thing.  The last time I checked the map had more than two airfields.

But keep doing what you're doing, it makes for pretty good comic relief to stop in here every now and then.  It's funny to watch posts like this and then see the laments as to why the AvA (or more correctly AvA-DA) isn't used more.

I can predict the Avengers and Storch becoming long and fast friends.

Birds of a feather and what not.

My favorite part was watching BearKats pancake his 38 TWICE trying to get an angle on me.

No, wait the best part was the whine on 200 right after that ;)
