I think the miscount on the Allies side is associated with my many failed attempts to register for the last non-Jabo fighter available (Spit IVX at the time).  Finally Spikes had to intercede for me and manually add me in, and apparently the counter didn't pick it up to show 30/30 of Allied slots full.
