Fulton to pay students in after-school program
Creekside High and Bear Creek Middle will pay students $8 an hour for "Learn & Earn" program

Back when I was in school the insentive of getting a well paying job and not being a handsomehunk was enough to keep me in school.

$8 an hour to do what they should be doing in the first place?
Why earn minimum wage through hard work at a fast food place when you can get paid more just to study...?

That’s just retarded!

as long as, at the end of the year they get taxed out of it all, to pay for their education. it could be a realistic learning tool.

bad part is, since for Fed taxes, a minor's income has to be included in a parent's income (the last time I looked). it could cause a bracket jump and more taxes a parent has to pay.

yeah it would be a real learning tool for kids and the parents lol.

let them do it. :lol
