Bought some music
« on: February 10, 2008, 03:15:59 PM »
Went to BB and bought some CD's I've put off for awhile.

I picked up:

Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St., Goat's Head Soup - Stones
Muswell Hillbillies - The Kinks

The Mick Taylor and Black and Blue album is my fav. "version" of the Stones.   I listen to them and recall when I was 7 or 8, my oldest brother spinning these on vinyl.

Now Muswell Hillbillies is one of my all time favorite albums.    The Kinks were a tight band until the strains of in fighting became too much of a burden.   I recommend this one to anyone.     Not a bad tune on it.   Especially the title track, Skin and Bone, Alcohol, 20th Century Man, and others.

until the RIAA takes their heads out of their tulips I don't think I am ever going to purchase a CD again....

though I would like to own a few old ones like Megadeth - Peace Sells which I only own on cassette right now.
I don't know what to put here yet.

I have the first two...almost bought Goats Head, never did---and, as years go by, I've grown to HATE Angie (Along with Stairway to Heaven and Dream On)

Plenty of used stuff to be found at Amazon. RIAA won't see a cent of it.

Plenty on torrent and Limewire too. RIAA can stick it.

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.
