<Salute> to the allies...
« on: February 12, 2008, 05:31:32 PM »
First, I mistakenly posted this in the axis forum last night and have been forced by my Luftwaffe Kameraden to clean109 spinners for 3 hours as a punishment.

Second...a big fat SALUTE to the allied pilots who flew in the AvA last night!

I am an old warbirds player and have been out of the loop for freaking 8 years, but when I flew there I flew solely in the historical arena and in scenario's with my squad, as the main arena's are usually too "gamey" for me.

Last nights buff missions WITH scorts brought back some good memories of that game and made for some great online play.  Sadly, I was unable to bring any of those buffs down and had to settle with some assists.  (Cuz I SUCK...I mean, new joystick, havent flown in 8 years..yea, that's it)  BUT, I didn't get killed either, so that's a plus.

While everybody has their own style of play, I enjoy the attempted recreations of historical missions / flight styles the most and look forward to similar events in the AvA arena.

Thanks again gang.

thank Joedog31 for setting it all up.  :aok

Was kind of fun sitting in a buff at 22k looking down at the cold cruel LW town as it became a smoking cinder. :D
