P39 fuel tanks.

The P39 only had 2 fuel tanks. In real like i believe it had 4. I think their was an aft and a forward tank.

Don't think so, the engine seems to take up a great deal of space in the aft, and the armament seems to take up a great deal of space forward.  Silly huh.

Hi Mates

I have the USAAF Flight Manual for the P39.  Fuel system shows two wing tanks and then a feed from the drop tank.

Specs show wing tanks with 87 gal. fuel and aux. tank with 75 gal.
