The last 2 shots show me when I was down to 13mm and I had already made a pass on puke scoring hits but saw no damage We had just come out of the clouds and I was closing fast
Instead of breaking to avoid collision I let rip more 13mm from d100 and under hoping to see the buff finally come apart.
Unfortunately I missed judged my rate of closure and was killed on impact...... :(

How art mimics life... many LW pilots made the ultimate sacrifice ramming ramming bombers.  I think IV/JG3 pilots even swore an oath if they failed to down the bomber with guns then they would ram the bomber.  Of course you did it accidentally so I'll just call you a dweeb.  :D

Nice pics Ghosth!

Sancho watch that film I posted of friday nights snapshot.......

I flew through the entire buff formation at ranges upto d 100 leaving broken and damaged b17s in my wake down to 13mm pushing to get 1 more b17. My heart was coming out of my chest............

If Saturdays was as fun as fridays I'm sorry I missed it..........

Of course if I had been there saturday the results would have been much like friday if not better....... :)

great shots

You guys had the d25.......hmm all I saw friday was d30s ...........

After I saw them they were soon in pieces and hard to recognize ...... :)

The first 1 i engaged followed me through cloud layer at a high rate speed and I rolled and climb just as I came out the button. I never saw that 47 again I believed he augered.

The second kept annoying me till finally I wnt for kill. We went in and out of clouds but I was glued to him pinging him several times however akhoopy swooped in and finished.

The next 47 tried getting on my 6 as I was stalking the b17s. I soon split essed and was able to put 2 20mm hits into his cockpit. His plane took 2 sprits from d200 and dissappeared. Akfloyd was the 47. I told Akhoopy who it was. I thought it was funny because Akhoopy had told me a 47 was closing on my 6 and gave me a 6 call. I guess events like this gives us all a chance to face each other country mates or squad mates makes no difference.

When I got back to buffs I saw no more 47s d30s or otherwise (no 51s either).......
