It is not loyalty to a chesspiece, rather a tradition dating back to the beginning of Pig time.  Pigs have always flown Knight.  You really should keep the lame comments to yourself Sir.  Never found any reason to be impolite with you, and would rather not start now.

Sorry.  Just stating my opinion.  I've just heard that members flying on other countries are booted from the pigs.  I'd never join a squad that had such a policy.  Worried people will think the Pigs are all spys?

Maybe they will answer for themselves, hmmmm?  Also it's not just liking to fly for a side.  I fly bishop for the majority I'm pretty sure.  But I wouldn't immediately kick people out of a squad or harrass them about flying rook or knit.  The chess pieces are pretty much all the same.
