I had followed this story a bit last year about  Dragon Skin Body armor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTrTrsJu3pk&feature=related I assume that we do not currently use it because of the price, seems to be about 5 times more than the standard body armor, here is a bit more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKnfHhRl7U0&feature=related

All I know about Dragon Skin I learned from Michael Yon.  He sold his set shortly after purchasing it.

"Pinnacle contacted me in late 2005 to offer a discounted set of Dragon Skin body armor. After buying it for about $4,000, I tried it on, tried to work with it, and quickly concluded that I had just wasted $4,000."

Was looking at some info. Pinnacle claims their product reduced backface blunt trauma significantly compared to Interceptor armor. That's really hard to believe considering how large the Interceptor's trauma plate is. Otherwise the product looks pretty cool.
