Campaign Series Update
« on: August 20, 2008, 08:24:41 PM »
I have split the bases up as equal as possible on the new map giving the Allies 13 Airbases, 29 Vehicle Bases and 2 ports.  The Axis will have 14 Airbases, 27 Vehicle bases and 2 ports.  I have a couple questions I need to ask the staff but hopefully I will get a map layout out tomorrow for the COs to assign their rare planes to airbases.

With this new maps I don't think I will be able to use strats as I intended with the old map.  Will most likely just add a couple more "supply depot" bases to be assigned by the CO, who's capture will alter each sides downtimes for the next week instead of strats.

Ok I apologize for the delay, but I am trying to take in a lot the last couple of days.  Not being a staffer it is taking a bit for me to communicate to the guys that will actually being doing the setup.

Also it is going to be hard to convey all the bases to the side CO's using screenshots.  So my new tentative plan is to get the arena setup on either Friday or Saturday night, so the CO's can check it out and provide the final information.  It will also give us a day or two to fine tune anything.  Still shooting for a Sunday night kickoff to the actual war though.

I will keep you posted.

Hopefully friday night.

I will be offline this Sat night, but will be back Sunday night.

Also a Sunday night start may not work. Remember that the servers all get reset on Monday Night/Tuesday mornings. So the wars would have to go from Tuesday to Monday. Or Tuesday to Sunday.

Rgr, there is a discussion regarding this by the staffers and they are not certain on the resets necessarily.  First week might be a bit shaky, but we'll get it going.

Willing to work with people's schedules.  <S>

Sorry guys think I'm gonna have to move start date to Tuesday.  Getting the map set has taken longer than I thought and I haven't had much time to get online the last couple of days.  Trying to coordinate with the Staffers to see if one of them will be available Tuesday.

I apologize for the delay.
