I'm not a fan of low quality brands such as Sceptre.  Remember, you get what you pay for.  I looked for specs on it and could not confirm the contrast ratio (listed as 4000:1) as either Dynamic or Static.  I have a gut feeling thats a dynamic rating, especially for that price point.  So I wouldn't expect the Static contrast ratio to be very high.

The warranty on it is only 1 year.  Better brands like Samsung, Viewsonic, Dell, Acer, Asus carry 3-5 year warranties.

I'm sure it will play it fine, but IMO if you're on a $220 budget, I'd go to a 22" quality brand over an extra 2" of something shaddy.  Remember, you get what you pay for.

If you're willing to spend an extra $60 for 2" less, the LG Monitor I have is superb. I originally had an HP 17", and when I upgraded I decided to go with a (cheaper than the LG) Westinghouse 22"... I returned it for the LG the next day.

Well then it seems you've answered your own question!  :salute

I have a 22" Daewoo monitor that I was concerned about (specs weren't even listed on the box - aside from resolution) but I bought it at AAFES (Army Air Force Exchange Services) and I knew AAFES would let me return it without any problems if I didn't like the monitor... Worked great so I didn't need to take it back.
