I've used a twisty stick for the past 10yrs flying. MS Precision pro to a Logitech extreme.
I was wondering,(to those who have made the switch) how hard was it to switch from a twisty stick to peddles?
Is it worth it after using a twister for so long?

Spikesx do you have to make a profile to get the n52 to work right? All I get out of mine is the thumb mouse. Really not trying to hijack here. What I use is in my sig.
Yes I do. Also make sure you update your firmware and drivers...READ THE README as well...VERY important stuff when upgrading.
The macros work really well for my needs...I'm used to the n52te since I play COD4 a lot too. I mainly have macros setup for squelch purposes, end flight, etc. I don't use any regular controls on my n52te for AH I might say, only macros are set on it.
It's perfect when you need an extra couple buttons though.

Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, had it for over 2 years now, works well, then again, I've never used an expensive stick.
