A little button to dig in or camouflage your m16. This would take a few minutes during which the M16 would be defenseless.

but once done, icon range would be reduced to say 1.0, giving the m16 driver who sits there far out in the direction of the enemy field an advantage when the hordes come.

Only for the M16 though. This would maybe make it more common.  .

I was thinking of keeping the lower icon range thing. Those that have seen it fire know what general area it is in, and it IS still camouflaged 8and hence should be harder to see).

This would be one way of making M16's more common.

Another way would be to give Mausers the ability to disable and kill ostwinds. Right now, that's nearly impossible in practise.

That would be pretty cool I think. However, it would be even nicer if there were some actual trees and shrubs to hide in.
