Been in 3 bike accidents in my life....  All of 'em sucked....

1st time, I was hit by a guy on his cell-phone yelling at his girlfriend....  He drove away after he saw me get up....  Another dude I was with discreetly followed the guy home(I told him to)  after calling me an ambulance..  Received a broken wrist, broken ankle, and over 30 stitches all together...

2nd time, I was rear ended by a certain ethnic man and landed on the hood of the guys car while shattering his windshield with my helmet....  He was upset about his windshield and
told me I'd better gave insurance...  The cops thought otherwise....   :D

3rd time (a charmer), had a girlfriend on the back..  Pretty much all I want to say about that one....

I wish your buddy the best... :salute

That could be read a couple of different ways.

The broken wrist, broken ankle and over 30 stitches was the damage to the car driver, right?  (I hope) :devil

I always, always tell my sons "watch out for cars, they're not watching out for you" when they ride their bicycles.  They've got these little moped-type motor bike thingies as well.  And I'm sure once they're all old enough they'll want motorcycles.  I reckon I'll still be saying the same thing to them on the phone when they're grown, out of the house, and riding motorcycles.
