If this is for gaming, corded is the fastest and most accurate... Logitech G-9

For use almost anywhere... Logitech Performance MX or MX 1100.

Yep nothing beats a cord for gaming. I like OCZ gaming mouses they're dirt cheap and they go high DPI for accuracy. No drivers necessary and on-the-fly adjustment for DPI.
