Mobile artillery

Since we now have a way to lay guns in ships why not implement a mobile artillery piece? Maybe Hummel (based on PzKw IV chassis with 150 mm howitzer) or maybe Priest?

Gun could be layed to target area by clicking targe on map, then directed to point targets by spotter.

Which reminds me that Kubelwagen or Jeep would be nice.

The M-7 Priest has been rumors for months now.  Pyro himself started it.

FYI, the M-7 is a M3 medium tank hull (the grant/lee tank), with a 105mm howitzer mounted in it, and a .50 caliber machinegun on the right, front side like the M3 halftrack has.

LOL Here's a real base killer for ya. The Stumtiger. It fired a modified rocket propelled navel depth charge 6,180yrd. The projectile weighed no less than 761lb. almost all of the weight was HE.

I would really like to see the M8 armored car added. It would add a speedy little fire support weapon to escort the tanks.

I know their perking the Tiger II but maybe for a couple less points they would perk a Tiger (Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger Ausf E). I know the Tiger II was a more powerful tank with its thicker armor but it's off road performance wasn't that good because it was heavier. The Tiger E was a little better off road. I personally think the Tiger E was a meaner looking tank.

I think we should get the jeep just for sh*ts and giggles. It'd be fun. Or maybe throw a recoilless rifle on it. Have you and a coupla buddies go cruisin around in jeeps and try to knock out the slow panzers

There's still plenty of versions of the M3 HT that could fill any light armored vehicle role.

While the M3 and M5 Stuart LT's were of little use in Europe, they would be applicable in the Pacifc because the larger Amtracs could load one   (and they're fast) although generally a M3 HT mounting the 75L38 gun fill most roles.

But a Hummel would be so cool.   Or a 155mm M40.

The Hummel and SturmTiger sound nice at first.....then you do your reasearch and find out they both have smaller ammo loads than the M7.

M7 has 69 rounds
Hummel has only 18 rounds internal
The SturmTiger has 12 rounds

Given that you have to hit your target directly, and that can take several shots to finnally score your first hit, I would rather have a smaller gun with more ammo.

You won't see me in one of these. As much fun as it would be, they would probably be slow as hell in AH. I would guess you get <5 mph going up a hill too. (I wish they would change that. Epecially with bases up on hills. If you can't drive there, how they make a base up there?)

Anyhow, at such low speed, no AA capability and no trees to hide under, you arse is a free target for every airborne cannon in the game. FORGET IT!
