film viewer problem
« on: March 11, 2009, 09:11:35 AM »
recently my film viewer is starting out with a very low in the cockpit setting, so low you can't see out of the cockpit. I have to use the page up button and up arrow to get back to normal view. that's not that big a deal but if I use the recorded views feature it makes it go back to the messed up view. Any ideas here?

Yes, you probably accidently saved over the default head position.  Just adjust the film viewer head position and resave it as you would in the game (arrows, page up/down, F10 to save).

Quick fix instead of paging up and what not:  Hit the Home key.  It puts the view back to where it is "supposed" to be vs. where you have it saved.  Sometimes my views start out funky, out of the cockpit or too low, and that will fix it.

you can also the HOME key and then F10 to lock it in.  I noticed the head position was not the same in the film viewer the other day.  Perhaps something has changed???
