Apart from the stated rules...
You can only reup at the field your squad took off from.

I understand that. it's just sucks to get discoed 200 miles from your sqd and have to reup from base you took off from..why bother, all the action is done with if your attacking and the chance of getting there by your self with out getting jumped by another sqd is very low.might has well be no reups in that case. If they could reup you at the location you discoed it would at least be somewhat close and you might have a fighting chance hooking up with your sqd mates. as it is, you might as well just log out or just play base defense if your in a fighter.

Well, there's currently no game mechanic we could use to do that anyway.  Until then, its simply an unfortunate facet of online gaming.  Perhaps in the future there will be a better remedy to the problem.

I'd recommend joining as a gunner/observer if you're that far away.  Be an extra pair of eyes to help your squad's SA.

I agree, not as much fun as being able to spawn with your squadies right in the air, but as Stoney said it is not an option to do much else.

We have squadies join all time as observers and if we are in buffs it is just about a standing rule to join someone as a gunner.
