Dos Preguntas de Perk
« on: December 24, 2000, 08:51:00 AM »
1.  If I fly my perk plane, and land it, and log off, have I spent my perk points?  What about if I disco without damage, will I get my perk plane back cause I landed it?

2.  Do I get Perk Points in a Perk Plane.

Bonus,

Is Katy Couric still perky?

I think that as long as you get it back to your base and land/ditch it without dying or without having to bail ya should be able to keep it.  It would kinda suck to have to lose it no matter what regardless of how well ya fly it

From what I have read u keep the aircraft until you break it.  I am not sure what will happen as far as ditches go.  IMO u should have to "land successfully" to keep it.

Dunno how this will affect things like Tiger II's.  It may turn them into defensive monsters, because once you use a spawn point, the only way you'll "land successfully" is if you capture that base you are attacking.

I think that if you damage your AC you should have either a limited repair time untill you can use it again or you should have to use some more perk points to repair it.

OOO GOOD IDEA!!

ok as long as ya get it back to base without dieing or bailing you can keep it, BUT depending on how much damage there is to it, it will cost ya perk points to get it running again, if ya dont have enough points to reapir it you have to fly something else until ya raise enough points to fix yer baby, that would be perfect.

1.) If you fly a perk plane it's sorta like giving your credit card number to a car dealer. He bills you once the "90 days same as cash" runs out. You only lose perk points by losing the aircraft. So if you're flying a Tempest and kicking bellybutton you'll be fine. Lose the plane and you lose 50-odd points. I'd guess that a DISCO would cost you since they are counted as a death.

2.) Yep. You might not get many, but you will get them. Check out the score info in Ronni's post in the News board.

3.) I never pay attention to Katie. Ask Rip, he prolly knows.

You keep the points if you rtb.

If you are a wreck on the runway, but not dead, that counts and you keep it.

Hit the fly button again and your 100% just like any other plane.

Like Skurj said, this will really stink for vehicles in the current setup.  Your teleported so far out into the field, there is an hour drive to get back if you want to quit.
