Base Background Noise...
« on: July 29, 2009, 02:25:06 PM »
It would be nice to have ambient noise while sitting in the tower. When on a carrier you could hear some wind and some waves splashing. Things like truck engines, various aircraft noises, and mechanical things. When your sitting in the tower it usually dead silent save the occasional takeoff/siren.  Even a one or two minute recording would be cool and would add a lot of feel. Right now it so quiet my ears start ringing at times.

Thats my wish....and a easy one at that.

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

I liked installing Janes WWII Fighters just to listen to the music during the install. One was Little Brown Jug, but I can't remember the other they used. European Air War had a "radio" in your quarters that played different types of music depending on which country you were flying for.
