brewster bug maybe?
« on: July 30, 2009, 08:43:12 PM »
I noticed in the brewster if you look straight down in the cockpit you can see out the bottom of the plane floor, like there is a window there.  I went to external view offline and I see no window in the bottom of plane, nor is there a hole.   Might be worth looking at if you have the time someday ....Nice update HTC!!   :rock

I noticed that as well and haven't researched as of yet whether there is a window there to see if the gear is up like there is in the F4F.

Guess I'll look into it.

Was that what it was for? I thought you couldn't see your gear from those windows?

They had windows on the bottom, however they would also paint over them on some planes.  It was a design decision to keep the windows on the inside, much like the F4U-1
