Video Graphics issue (very strange
« on: July 31, 2009, 04:24:11 PM »
EVGA 9000 series
updated drivers
After the update I start aces high mouse will move then halt for a second than move again
I went over all my setting and compared them to all said good setting son the forum and all seems well
Disabled everything and it still happens
Then I found something strange
If I go into video settings on the first Aces high screen and just push ok th eproblems go away.

It seems like there is a issue with my graphics card is not getting all of the games settings and by pushing ok it send the correct settings

i am looking at this correctly and has anyone come across this.

I have exactly the same problem, game runs great, just frustrating to get in! - I also found out that once you go to vid settings, mouse works fine

Went to vid settings reduced to 512 and game locked. Rebooted and went back to 1024. The temporary lockup at start up screen isn't everytime, but when I do get it my vidmem shows 0.0. Most of time I don't have this problem everytime. Most the time I run at 60fr and only studder when near other planes. I run 60 fr with everything checked including self shadow, and I run the same fr's with shadows and bumpmap unchecked as well

Yes

Its a Saitek issue. Has nothing to do with the game or your Vid card.

Mouse jump to the left right?

One fix, the one that worked for me, is to go into control panel/systems/device manager/Saitek magic bus and disable the Saitek magic mouse. Then go into your Saitek control panel and make sure LED brightness is turned on all the way.

Do that and get back to me if it doesnt work. We'll try something else.

It doesn't jump it locks up intermittently. I do not have any saitek drivers installed. No magic mouse.

I found a quicker way to resolve the problem

1) Load Game - mouse freezes (mine does it when clipboard comes up - mouse works breifly before that)

2) ALt Tab to desk top

3) Alt tab back in to game - Voila! - mouse not frozen  :x

I do not own any Saitek Equip I have all CH-Products , This is a mem-video -leak issue . I do not think the game is issue its video settings to the OS, If I go into video settings on the initial screen and just press ok all my problems dissapear. its almost like a temporary corrupted file
