Was designed as a high speed unarmed bomber that should be able to avoid interception. There are a few models around of that plane and having seen them the plane looks pretty cool.

As far as hitting a target is concerned, it had a bombsight.

Aaah... the German P-38. Gawd its ugly, it looks almost.. french. *eek*   ;)

Edit: on a closer look, it looks like the racer from Star Wars Episode 1. Interesting.

With such a long nose and those engines blocking foreward side views somewhat, that thing would have been "interesting" to land for sure!

lol, German P-38. There were planes made by Germany that were FAR more like the P-38(at least in terms of design) than this one. I just htought it would be neat for all you Lufty pilots to take this one for a spin. It would take a lot of planning and more luck to intercept one at speed.

Real funny plane with the rudder before the cockpit.

Everytime you apply full rudder, you puke on the dashboard.  :D
