With my luck, my clunker that has run the last four patches smooth as silk will be crippled by this new one. :D

Test this if it helps :

Go to first sceen - and select video settings - select another texture size from what you have . select back to what you had before in max texture size
go into AH arenas and try if its gone.

I had to do this with my "old" 8800gts  320 meg for it to work.
I also reloaded directX  and my network card drivers.

When I changed my card to a new ati 4890 vapor-X problems where gone.
I use latest ati dual core optimizer and do not use compability mode.

 :rock

 to HiTech and the crowd for the last patch.... my old POS computer seemed to run the update well, until I got around more than 5 or 6 other planes. Then my FR would go from around 30 to anywhere from 9-12. Titanic Tuesday was the worst - one big furball saw the FR drop to 3!!!
I was depressed Wednesday morning thinking I was going to somehow go without my AHII fixes til I could scrape together enough $$ to go ahead and buy a new computer.  :frown:

Install patch Wednesday and WOW, smooth as silk. Lowest FR I've seen is around 25, even in a furball. Averages in the near 40 range. Textures are better, too - less augering, and when I do it'm more stupidity than lack of depth perception.

:aok :aok :aok three thumbs up on a job well done, guy!

Just for grins:

I loaded up GPU-Z & had it running in the background & went up w/ the newest patch 6.

My GTX 260 65nm Vanilla clocked at 625/1350/1200 w/o a hitch at 100 FPS.

Vid card running at 67*C at 87% fan speed drawing 42.5 amps!

I think AHII is using the shader capabilities quite well!
