What I don't understand is you can put a '*' into your profile to ignore ALL on the forums.

What good is that? Wouldn't not visiting the forums be easier?

(Although, it would be hillarious if Skuzzy did that as an April Fools joke to someone)

It's originally the PMs blocklist, so that's there in order to block all PMs. Guessing they just tied them together.
