Houston we have a problem.
« on: December 02, 2009, 11:59:46 PM »
This one is a clipboard shot of the old Winter Rhine terrain. The one I made the objectives on.

This is of the new one taken from SEAII tonight.

Looking into what if anything we can do. MGD spotted this and e-mailed myself and Viper about it. Thanks MGD. I went in to the SEA and sure enough the strat is gone. Worse case is I have to make up new objectives for each frame and of course the CiC's will have to redo the orders for Frame 1. Very sorry about that. This will not happen before Friday the 4th. Best case is HTC can fix this and it will be a non-issue. Worse case is FSO will be delayed a week or two.

Will keep you guys posted as we become informed.

My apologies to all involved and we did not see this coming.

Of course there is a bright side. I screwed up and put the Army of Muppets on the Allied side when they had requested Axis. Sorry about that guys. If we have to postpone Frame 1 then at least they will get the side they wanted for all three frames. :D

Roger that DD.  I will support with planning for the ALLIED side even if short notice.

Army of Muppet's issue:  FYI they have the ALLIED Op Oder.  Request that they not switch sides unless the entire ALLIED plan is a complete re due and I do mean complete.  Just switching targets and the map wouldn't alter my plan in its overall concept.  If we are able to have Frame 01 on time keep AOM ALLIED and switch them for Frame 02 and 03.

Best of luck DD

This only delays the inevitable Allied defeat! Muahahahahaha.   :airplane:

<S> daddog Sorry you may have to redo the objctives.

I'll plan on getting orders out asap whatever scenario plays out.  I should be able to turn them out on a days notice.

An alternative would be to bomb the town of airfield "X" instead of the strat that used to be next to it.

If that's not enough, bomb the towns at 2 airfields (to make enough things to kill).

Just a thought, til this is figured out.

:neener:DMBEAR you slop headed jutting jawed 4 eyed little monkey. And a cute one at that.  You allies don't stand a chance against the superior skills of the Axis forces.  Oh and just so your not taken by surprise, Special Rule #1, the guess list only allows 12 bombers without escorts at each objective.  A warning, the Secret Service and White House Security will be checking invitations so no use trying to sneak extras in. :bolt:

Ok, just got a PM from Skuzzy. He rebuilt the terrain and it should be good to go. Lets go with Frame 1 and cross our fingers. I will take a look at it later tonight and double check everything.

If you see Skuzzy make sure you thank him for doing this today because he is NEVER lacking for things to do. :)

RhineWin is currently up in SEA II, and also on the Download Page, it's my understanding.
Easy in-game again.

Alright, WTG Guys!
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Yes. We have Frame 1 tonight.

Sent out an e-mail to all squads last night that we were good to go.

Get on early. The terrain is a new download.
