MSFFB2 Hat Switch Getting Balky
« on: January 04, 2010, 11:57:30 PM »
The hat switch is starting to work intermittently, particularly the rear views.

Any suggestions?  Something I can clean or otherwise fiddle with?

Thanks for any help.

You can easily replace the internal switches; they are very inexpensive.  See this post:  http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,280432.0.html

Also look inside the small hole that the switch rests in . It will crack and chip . Take the handle apart , remove it from the base . With the trigger removed put the hat in and move it around . Make sure there is no flex in the two halves where it rests . I used epoxy to repair mine , plus replaced buttons .
