2010 pre season rankings
« on: January 09, 2010, 07:08:21 PM »

1. Bama: no arguing about that.  Do have PSU, FU and Arkansas early in the season.

2. Ohio State: buckeye fan my self and think that they are rank to high.  They still have the threat of Iowa, PSU (a little week) and Wisconsin in the conference game and Miami (FL) early in the season.  Pyro need to play like a start QB and Treslle need to call plays with out fears.

3. Oregon: they have a lot of return starter. Expect them undefended in 2010 with Pac-10 champion and appearance in the NC.  there big test will be Tenn in the early season, USC middle and face off with OSU at the end.

4. BSU:  tough schedule in 2010 with OSU and NC game against VT.  Maybe one lost.

5. USC:  Here we go, the over hype of them being a dominate team in the Pac-10 and in the nation all over again.  Pete Carrol in talks of going to Seattle is up in the air.  They do have a young defensive team in 2009 and retuning with experience in 2010 but will have to face a strong OSU and talent Oregon back to back.  two QB that do not have much talent to do much damage.

6.TCU:  Another team that rank to high.  Open game against Oregon State will tell where they will go/   lost some key players.

7.Nebraska:  will be controlling the North Big XII but still have Texas in 2010.  First four games are a easy win.

8. Texas:  Losing two QB will be hard to replace.  WTG Mac!  I see them losing to OU, Neb. and questionable against Texas Tech.

9. Wisconsin:  It is hard to say, they do go and they dont.  The way the Big Ten, looks good for them.

10.  Florida:  How are they to hold that spot with Tebow not around and question on Meyers.  i see them in the 20-25 with 2 - 3 losses.

11:  Virgina Tech:  Good talent that should put them on the Nation Championship spot light.  If they beat BSU and Nebraska and remained undefeded they have a great chance in the top three.

12: Oklahoma: Tough season in 2009 should benefit them in 2010.  Not sure about FSU but should be a win for OU, same when they play Cinn.  Biggest game is Texas as of now and maybe TT.

13. Pitt:  A little weak coming into the 2010 season.  See what will happen if they can find some replacement.

14. Iowa: As always, a solid team.  Biggest game will be PSU and OSU.

15. Giorgia Tech: Really a weak team and see them with a 3-4 lose season.

16. LSU:  Coaching staff better get it together in 2010.  The team has the ability to be in the top 10.   big games: Bama, Tenn, UF, Ark, and maybe MissSt.

17. UNC:  May finish the 2010 season in the top 25.

18. Miami: Another team that can finish in the Top 10.  key games are Ohio State and Pitt.

19. UCONN:  Need to get after them looses from 2009 to a win in 2010.

20. Oregon state:  Will have one of the best defensive in the Pac-10.  KEY GAMES; TCU, BSU, USC, and Oregon.

21.  Houston: Have the talent on both offense and defense.  Key game: TT and MissST so far.

22. Utah:  Lots of talent with key players returning.  Big games to win; Pitt and ND

23. Arkansas: West SEC is open to grab for the Razorbacks.  Need to improve on the defensive.

24. PSU:  Have a few holes to fill in including finding the starting QB.

25. Cinn: Hard to see them not finish in the top 25.  Have some areas to improve and need to win some big games (Oklahoma).
