heard the same about Pacifico just cant find it around here, anything has to be better than Coronas yucky aftertaste

That rubbery, band-aid aftertaste is from the hops in the beer being exposed to light.  It is a mild form of "skunking".

That is why they use clear bottles.  They intentionally expose the beer to a measured amount of UV light for a brief period of time in the brewery after bottling to achieve this.

That is also the reason most good beer is in brown bottles and some (Sam Adams for example) even have taller six-pack boxes.

I don't find the aftertaste yucky anymore.  After brewing for the past 5 years, I've learned to appreciate different and odd flavors in beer.

drinking one of these as I'm reading this.  coriander and orange peel in it......yet......it's quite interesting.  I think I dig it.
