The Green Mountain Boys celebrate our 12th anniversary tonight. We formed in Warbirds after original CO Stymie- once again our active CO - saw the F15's of the Vermont Air National Guard perform at an airshow and took up their squadron name. We were fortunate enough to have a RL Pensacola top gun instructor retired Navy A4 pilot Capt. Larry "Blazes" Jackson with over 400 RL carrier landings train us in squadron ops, sections work, E management, and gunnery. We operate as VMF 158 Marine carrier attack squadron utilizing the vaunted F4u Corsair as our official squad mount. Although many of us are have retired from the game a few of us proudly carry on the tradition and most of our former squaddies stay in contact through our squad email.
Salute to all our respected opponents over the years as well as our allied squadrons.
