An WWI Specific Forum
« on: March 30, 2010, 12:44:08 PM »

At least until we get an official HTC forum for WWI stuff we could take advantage of a forum SC-ASP of the Skeleton Crew has set up:

http://www.ww1sims.com/forum/index.php?forum=12

You "Great War" types should pop in and say hi.

Why do we need a separate forum for the WW1 arena? I see the logic but not the advantage. Also, isn't it likely to draw posts that should be in Help and Training, General, Airplanes and Vehicles, Wishlist, or Support?

Prolly for the same reasons an  "Axis vs Allies" forum was created?

Sometimes its hard to find discussions about the WWI stuff without having to wade thru a bunch of other non-WWI discussion.

Its not mandetory you post there.  Its just available.

Wab

Uhhhh this wasn't a wishlist thing.  Someone else has already suggested that.  I was just pointing out an interim alternative.   :lol

I had assumed we would get a WW1 forum but it seems to me that we are doing fine without it.  Not saying it would hurt, just more work for Skuzzy.  :D

I would like to see one also.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron.—Dwight Eisenhower, April 16, 1953

Thanks Wabbit, I know Asp works tirelessly over the years for WW1 Flight sims of all descriptions for 0 reward other than the personal kind.

For those willing to visit ww1sims.com, you will find a like minded bunch of people dedicated to a small part of history and the AH ww1 arena will be well catered for until HTC set up your own.
