262 CV launch and recovery profiles
« on: March 29, 2010, 05:55:13 PM »
OK,

Did some testing on optimum approach profiles with the CV. 140 indicated, 135, 120, and 115. Special thanks to MachFly who waited patiently on the side of the CV to take the camera positions.

End result - 120 indicated or lower when 25% gas and scoche ammo.

This was cool to watch.

It shows the game in a realistic way.  Nice job you two.  Wolf, do you use an aviation mic to get that vox sound or was it an actual radio recording from real life?  It was a tad low and I wasn't able to clearly hear it, but I got the effects intentions.
Time's fun when you're having flies.

I kept the radio chatter turned down since I didn't want that to be the focus. It was mostly a mixture of AWACS from various time periods (MAGIC - NATO, Serbia period), (BULLDOG - talking to Benji 51 and 53 circa 91 Gulf War)

I'll throw up a different file that raises the audio to hearing levels.

Yes, however this is not the place to ask questions. We have a "Help and training" forum for that.
