What is the best plane for strafing tanks? I dont mean blasting them with explosives. b 25s 80 mm bounces off, and cannons and MGs dont seem to do much on mossie, or jugs

LOL. But I thought the B25 was good for everything?
And it's a 75mm HE cannon. Hit tanks in the butt and they die.  Sherman in it's side. T34 from a high rear angle.

Forget all the usual fighters, like Jug or Mossie.
You want to up a tank buster.

The three planes of choice are
Il-2 (37mm loadout)
B-25H
Hurricane IID

Each one can kill any tank in AH2. The "best" tank buster is the Il-2: Deadly cannons, good rate of fire, good protaction, nice ammo loadout. B-25H has a big bad cannon (nice to kill Wirbel turrets from 2k and beyond), but it's a slow, lumbering target relatively vulnerable to ground fire. You have to be more careful in setting up your approach, not as easy to use as the Sturmovik.
Finally the gentleman's tankbuster, the Hurri D: Can also kill every tank (has hard time with T34/76 though), quite maneuverable, but a very limited ammunition capacity.

But no matter which one you chose: You have to setup your attack properly. Just flying towards an enemy tank and unloading your cannons into it's frontal armor won't get you far. Take your time to climb, set up your approach carefully, and aim for the weakest points. Usually that means top deck right behind the turret (in case of T34/85 aim for the turret itself). Get down steep, but as slow as possible to avoid augering next to the tank. Watch that trees!. With the B-25H (which hates step dives), you can also hit them right into the rear.
