This one has a lot of potential. As is typical of ATI the hardware is excellent, but the drivers leave something to be desired at this point. I really do hope ATI is finally able to write a set of drivers that allow this card to perform up to its potential. Since this card is set for a mid-September release they have some time yet to do so.
They will also have to lower the price they want to sell it at ($399) to compete with GF 3.
September and October are definately going to be interesting. Several new exciting products are set for release then: This Radeon card, Nvidia nForce chipset, Northwood P4 ( 2 Ghz should happen in late October ), Athlon 4 (Palomino at > 1.533 Ghz ), and Windows XP are all set to come out then.
