Thank you!
« on: July 17, 2010, 09:54:30 AM »
I would just like to say thank you to all of the allied pilots that flew their missions in Frame #3 as we seemed to have accomplished our goals. As a first time CIC, it was exciting for me to see how it all played out. You were truly a great bunch to work with!

I would also like to say thank you to the CM staff for their help and for putting on such a great event. Speaking for my whole squadron, we had a blast all 3 frames!

 :salute

Thanks for CiCing. :) It can be stressful especially if it is your first time.

Whoever put the 2nd raid across the channel needs congratulations.  That was one of the finest follow up missions I have seen in FSO.  Awesome (and I was on the receiving end of it for clarity).
I get really really tired of selective realism disguised as a desire to make bombers easier to kill.

Edgar.........  Nicely done sir <S>

Dantoo - You can thank the ALLIED radar operators (dead guys) for that.  The use of radar allowed everyone left alive to converge into one spot for a HUGE furball of fun.  And the BOB map only add's to that due to the layout.  It probably won't have happened otherwise.  I hope we see more of that myself.

:salute to all the FSO pilots but especially the CICs.  The first time is an eye opening experience.  You have a limited amount of resources and certain targets to attack, and certain targets to defend.  You get the feeling that you are dancing to a tune that was called by someone else.  As part of the CM team for this event, thank you for your kind words and mostly for your hard work.  It still amazes me that people come together from all over to spend their fridays in an aerial chess match.  Many have told me that the FSO event is what keeps them flying.  Seeing you guys have a good time is all the reward we want!  CYA Next Month! :airplane:

<S> Edgar was an honor to fly for you. That frame was probably the most fun I have had in FSO in a while!
