Tron 2.0
« on: July 26, 2010, 03:45:43 PM »
What do you think is it going to save your childhood memories, or destroy them.  Just like A-team, G.I. Joe, and Transformers memories are melted away now because of those bad movies.

Next year the movie industry is releasing Battleship, Monopoly, Transformers 3, and Thunder Cats.

I believe Tron is the only movie from my childhood that is being made right now that has any hope of saving my childhood.

What do you think?

This is the teaser that came out a year ago.

Honestly I didn't like Tron when it came out and I still don't care for it today. Will I watch it...doubtful but I will encourage my 13 year old to watch the original before he watches this one.

I did not like the video game hype that cropped up from the original but the movie was great and I will see the new movie.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I don't think it should be compared to G.I. Joe or The A-Team, because those were remakes, whereas Tron: Legacy is a sequel.

If they have Jeff Bridges playing alongside Jeff Bridges and Daft Punk doing the musical score, Tron: Legacy is going to rock. I think the (Edit: Nevermind, just the first three tracks) musical score is playing on the movie's website. Check it out.

If I remember rightly, 'Tron' was the first-ever computer-sim movie. Always thought the sound was awful, but Jeff Bridges is always value for money - loved his 'Greetings, Programs!'

When I saw Avatar that is when I first saw the preview for Tron.  I was sitting in the IMAX 3d and the preview came on in 2d.  I was like why am I wearing these stupid glasses for a 2D movie.

Then they switched to the computer world.  :O It had way better 3D then Avatar did by a mile. :aok

It seems like in human world will be 2D, and computer world will be in 3D.  Kinda like the Wizard of Oz with a Black and White real world, and Color fantasy land.
