Well i posted this message in the tech support forum like a goob so here it is again. I need help with fps and am looking for upgrade suggestions.
I am currently running:
Dell
700r p3
256 ram (pc 100)
soundblaster live value soundcard
Gforce 256 32mg agp video
13 gig hard drive
I am currently getting 15-30 fps since last patch (#4 to 1.08). Ground clutter is off, med visability, 800 x 600 and 32bit color which matches desktop settings. I was doing ok until last patch then all the sudden I've lost 10 fps on average and am getting choppy close to the ground or lots of planes, smoke etc.
I would like a suggestion for a video card that I can handle on my current system that would increase fps if it's possible. In other words if I can do this without upgrading processor and still get at least 10 fps on avg increase.
