Some of you might be having problems with your Sidewinder sticks. I know I got tired of losing buttons, or my 8-way hat turning into a 4-way. This little dload [7 megs] solves all those problems.

MS Sidewinder Download Page

This program solved all my problems, and fixed a spiking problem too. I've had it for over a year and not one problem has arisen from it.

One other thing to note.  If you have a MS Sidewinder 3d pro there is some bad news.  After weeks of searching and finally using MS Tech support email I found there is no way of making my 3d Pro work as digital.  This is a known limitation with 100mhz+ bus speeds on top end systems.  They have a patch up on the download page that "may" work, but it doesn't work in all cases.  It will work as an anolog stick but only 4 buttons and a 4way hat.  So I am about to go stick hunting in a couple of weeks
