For a while now something has bugged me. Maybe folks don't notice it as much, or maybe they just didn't bother to post about it so I will.
The Fw190s, after their 3D remodeling look great. Don't get me wrong, I like them far better than the previous models. However they need to be fixed with regards to the 3D model.
Maybe it's just my general love of the plane (scale models, WW2 pictures, dealing with the skinning process and how it maps to the in-game plane, looking at screenshots of it in-game, watching it on youtube videos, etc) but I cringe every time I see the fuselage of the Fw190A/F in-game.
It's round.
It should be .... "not" round.
In-game we have a very round cross section going all the way up to the front of the plane. It leads to a very awkward blending between the wing and the fuselage, as the fuselage pulls away from the wing at that point.
Instead, the real Fw190 has a nearly flat bottom with upward and inward sloped sides, more like the 262 cross section does. The wings blend in much better as the bottom is nearly flat and the "walls" meet them flat, rather than curving away.
Towards the tail the bottom remains flat (like a square with rounded corners) and the top slopes inward, until all the way back at the tail joint, where the stabilizers attach, the cross section is a square with rounded edges and a slightly curved top.
There are so many references out there that I won't bother posting them all. I'll just add a quick google-search couple of images to help illustrate what I mean.
See here:

http://www.albentley-drawings.com/images/FW190AGA5.jpgNote the cross-section profiles on the right side as the engine blends with the wings and extends backwards... The sides are flat and sloping inward, changing until they become almost flat. This would be the area the 190D9 and Ta152 had an extension inserted.
How it currently is in-game:
Here on an old screenshot you can see the rounded curve of the tail. Almost circular.

http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/7995/b17divevk2.pngPlease add this on the list of 3D things to fix! I realize this probably means negating all the existing skins, since they wrap left-right, and if redone to the proper shape you could not wrap underneath (it's too flat). You would have to designate part of the skin to be the bottom, as on the 109E4 skin currently.
