Then there's age requirements and open v concealed carry. Just sayin.

States require concealed carry permits.  I'm not talking concealing a weapon, I'm talking carrying one.
According to the constitution, all citizens have a right to bear arms.
There is no federal law that says "one must be in officially sanctioned law enforcement to carry a weapon."
Without getting into a political debate, by simply being a citizen, you have a right to carry a weapon.  The trick is not breaking any laws while doing so.

not if you are a felon, then you have no right.  and oh yeah did you know there was a weapon involved when the drug dealer was shot and he was there?  did you know he also was a member of a not so cool biker gang?

btw the constitution says the "people" not citizens.

Someone said he wasn't law enforcement therefore unable to carry.  I simply stated one does not need to be law enforcement to carry.  Nor are any permits required to carry.

the constitution guarantees us the right to own guns. it appeared to me as if you were trying to dodge around that.

so as a citizen of this great country, i am guaranteed the right to apply for, purchase, and use firearms.

how in the heck did you get that,  all i said is that warhed made a typo.  it says "people" not "citizens".  got nothing to do with who/how/what can own guns. not to get you upset or anything, but there's a reason why it says "people" and not "citizens".
