Before HTC put in the very noticable tracer streaks, I was once accused on range channel of purposefully tying up the shore battery and not firing at the CV.  He went on for a good five minutes, questioning my parentage and all kinds of other niceties -- despite the fact I had hit the dang thing several times during his rant.   :noid

I usually fly rook, but one day I switched to bish and when I got in the 8 inch guns firing at another CV, I had about 100 squeekers telling me to get out of the guns because I was deliberatly trying to sink their cv and never to go bish again

Wow! again. I never mentioned a conspiracy to ruin my game & I don't want to force anyone to do anything. If someone acts like I'm looney for making a suggestion & that I have some strange power or control over the minds of HTC designers to force you all to bend to my thinking? Just plain Buffalo Biscuits. I have spoke with quite a few people who have encountered everything I mentioned. Accurate? I have no way to verify, but just because a few folks paid attention to this thread and some don't believe it's happening, &/or don't believe we have the right to complain about cheating, is absurd. I have seen things in this game that screamed "Cheater" & I've heard this accusation rather regularly. There is NO reason for not doing everything possible to eliminate potential cheats. Some will always find a way to cheat. I guess I don't care if someone thinks I'm trying to force them to stop cheating. Why not? What do loop holes add the this game? I'm not that worked up about this, but I can't believe how worked up some people get. Nuff said by me.   :bolt:

Trust me. What you brought up in this thread is nothing but assumptions. Very inacurate I must say.  If you have solid proof that people that are switching countries to get in shore batteries or rat out missions, then take the proof and email it to HTC. Im sure they can handle it.
I can almost guess that most of what you encounter is merely a misunderstanding. These people are so much flaming you, but giving you examples on what you think is going on, but in actuality is not ( not saying that it NEVER goes on, but happens alot less than you think).
I jumped into shore bats plenty of times and though it may seem from your angle sitting outside it that it can reach the CV, sometimes it wont turn that far. For the guy sitting in it, waiting for it to come in range, it may seem that he is just some dweeeb holding it out, preventing people from getting in.

For keeping your mishunz super secret. I can tell you that 99.9999999% that are switching countries could give a rat's arse what condition the map is in and could care less about the war. They just switch to fight and thats it.

You guys that think this game is just about the real estate need to grow up and figure out that there is a HUGE player base that respect and have freinds in other countries. They dont have time or desire to make rolling the map their full time job. Mostly get in a couple sorties and log off for the night.

Give me a little credit. I was at a base for 20 minutes, couldn't get into the SB, it was occupied and not firing during the entire course of the attack with the CV in plain view & easily within range. I never said MOST of the players here cheat. I agree, that a high majority of players are above suspicion, that doesn't prevent a small % from pulling shenanigans.
One of the strangest things I find on this wish list forum, is the propensity for those who really don't care 2 cents worth about my wish will spend their precious time arguing about something they claim to care nothing about, or deny it even occurs. As far as the contention that HTC would spend vast amounts of time on this when their time is so badly needed elsewhere? they entire SB thing could be solved by showing their Callsign over the SB, to friendlies only, so if this occurs film & send to HTC. Again if there's nothing to this, then let the thread die here instead of continuing the challenge daily.  :salute

BTW i never said I was against putting icons on it so you could see whos in various guns. however, if you really want to figure it out, you already can just film in the vicinity and go find out for sure.

nevertheless, whats the end difference between someone just sitting idle in it on purpose, and some noob in it who cant hit the cv? would it ease your mind knowing it's just a noob with no nefarious intent, or would you bully and ridicule him out of the gun so you could take over?
