I ended up pulling scout duty for our squad tonight. We were assigned 190D9s! Yay!
Our mission timer was set a few minutes later than T+0 so me and the other scouts rolled early. I forgot however than when you manually launch you dont get what was in the mission, you get what you used last.
In our case that was the 190F8. Yup. I didnt realize this until after watching the film. If I had realized this earlier I never would have tangled with those Il2s headed to 69 or 72, not sure where they went. Ended up running out of ammo. Think I got a couple. Died later on when 2 LA7s dove on me. I still at that point thought I was in a D9 and was thinking wtf am I so slow?
