offline editor not working.

I am trying to get the offline editor working....keep getting the ahedmiss.exe has stopped working. How can i fix this?

The editor isnt working with the current version because it is out dated so you have two options:

1 - wait for the ME to be updated (wich can take a while)

2 - Use the 2.22 patch 1 of aces high, make your mission for that version and then just copy the RES of the mission to your 2.23 patch 2 version of aces high (since you will have 2 versions of aces high in diferent folders you will need to install manually the mission editor)

At this time, i cancel my account for online AH.  Should i just download the 2.22 patch 1?

OK what I did is that when the 2.23 patch 0 got released i copied My hitech creations folder so that i had one of each version because i knew this outdated ME thing would happen. so if you want i can send you the installer of the 2.22 patch 1 so you dont need to wait for HTC to update the ME, you can start building your missions on this version ME and hen they release the next version you just do some ctrl C ctrl V and delete your 2.22 patch 1. ill see if I can upload the exec via free file hosting

No, but the new patch that pyro put up works.  Ok, so how do i used this?  Go in it and not sure what i am doing.

huum, you can start by selecting wich terrain you wish your mission to be.Go on the top left corner FILE tab go to mission group properties and then select the terrain. after that you can name your mission group and create bishop and knigths side missions each one following routes with waypoints and segments. you can find some usefull info in the help/contents tab on the top.
basics...
to see the terrain select view terrain on the top.
to zoom in and out hold "shift" and rigth mouse button and move it foward and backwards
to move arround you can hold "Ctrl" and rigth mouse and move the mouse arround or you can select the "veiw icons" and click on the base that you want to see.
also if you hold rigth mouse button and move around you can look around the point where your "camera" is standing on the moment.
