never did like that teatimer setting that came with spybot......

once you get your files off, you will have yourself a backup PC after formatting & reinstalling fresh OS install...... so not all will be lost perhaps....

friend of mine has a vinyl to digital audio converter...we did roughly 300+ old records out of his and my collections......very time consuming, but least got them backed up now..... I'd put my back -up music copy files in the 150+ gig range these days....... every new CD I get I instantly rip it to 320 MP3 setting for backup purposes and then put the original away.......

got Jamie Johnsons very 1st CD, that thing cost me $10 dollars long ago at a concert, but they are selling them on eBay for over $200+ these days.....

Cap you can grab a thirty day evaluation copy of ESET Nod 32 which is what I use now.  It doesn't clunk up your system and a years sub for three machines is I think $59.  It's very very good.
