i can tell you first hand cap...no exaggeration...and empty can be just as deadly as loaded.
it's statistics dedalos...somewhere in a dark room some pencil pushers have determined that teenagers are more dangerous behind the wheel of any car at any speed, than a corporate executive driving a mercedes at 80mph...and that soccer mom's on yakking on the cell phone with kids in the car are less dangerous than single males between 25 and 35...and that's the information the insurance companies use to determine how much you're going to pay for your car insurance.
if you look at nationwide statistics...teenagers are at the top of the list for incidents involving motor vehicles...*diggin an elbow in your ribs*...and you can't tell me when you were a teenager you drove the way your parents told you to.
Check it out. The most dangerous drivers are middle aged men. It really depends on what one wants to show and and what statistic they want to use to support their idea, but the few I have ran into in the past, name middle aged men as the most dangerous drivers. Some of the reasons I remember were that most kids are careful (with exceptions of coarse) because they are new and they also have the reflexes to react. Old people are not aggressive and they have the experience. Middle aged men are the ones that know everything, are pissed off or stressed out, don't have the reflexes they think they have, don;t have the experience they think they have, are more aggressive, more likely to drive drunk etc etc.
I think the kids stick out because it is so sad that someone so young dies and they make the news more often. However, if you look at every day you will see that most accidents are caused by middle aged men and women. Check out how many of them are also professional drivers.
