**THIRD SUNDAY EVERY MONTH** (off June and July)
Endurance Air Racing. Similar to the AHXARL in function and form.
Heavy Metal Sunday adds the elements of refueling, unlimited re-ups, and numerous amounts of laps.
Each race (one a month) has a different aircraft chosen by the previous months winner.
We are on season 3.

Monday April 18th, 2010 8:00pm UK/3:00pm Eastern in SEA II - This Day in WWII hosted by Brooke.
Join us to commemorate the Doolittle Raid, which occurred on April 18, 1942.
Starting with the devastating attack at Pearl Harbor, Japan went on to rout US forces wherever they were engaged. To show that mainland Japan was not invincible and to help US morale at a time when progress in the war was bleak, Col. James Doolittle formulated a stealthy raid on Tokyo and other targets in Honshu using B-25's launched from the USS Hornet.
All players are welcome, and no preparation is needed. TDIWWII events have the theme of the battle, but they are not realistic recreations and do not require familiarity with any rules prior to joining us for the fun. More info can be found Here.

Tuesday April 19th, 2010 10:00pm Eastern in SEA I - Aces High eXtreme Air Racing League - Season 22 Race 12. Scheduled host is 4440.
This is the last race of the season. In two weeks, 3 May, we begin an all new Season.
On this day in History, 1945, On the Western Front... The US 1st Army captures Leipzig. The British 2nd Army reaches the Elbe south of Namburg.

Early in January the Rangoon defense was increased by several aircraft from the 1st squadron of the A.V.G. On January 13, the entire first Squadron joined the other
A.V.G forces at Rangoon. Air battles continued for weeks over Rangoon until it finally fell to enemy ground forces at the end of February. This Snapshot represents one of the many air battles that may have taken place over Rangoon.
